Update your DNS records for {{ custom_domain }}

We noticed that {{ custom_domain }} was removed from your site {{ site.name }} more than 24 hours ago, but the DNS records at your domain registrar are still pointing to Netlify.

To keep your domain secure and avoid potential issues, we recommend updating or removing these DNS records at your external registrar. If you’ve already updated your DNS records, no further action is needed.

Why this matters

When DNS records point to a service that’s no longer configured to serve your domain, it can create security vulnerabilities. Cleaning up stale DNS records is a best practice for maintaining control over your domain.

What to do

  1. Log in to your domain registrar (where you purchased or manage {{ custom_domain }})
  2. Remove or update any A, AAAA, or CNAME records that point to Netlify
  3. If you meant to keep this domain on Netlify, you can re-add it from your site’s domain settings
